Born in Mexico and raised in San Francisco, Maribel studied Visual Communication at San Francisco State University. Before devoting her time to Graphic Design, she took traditional drawing art classes and printmaking. 

After college, she continued her interest and studies in video game development to enrich her technical skills and further focus on UI/UX. 

 

Recently went through an apprenticeship contract role as a Graphic Designer at Insomniac Games, which was a highlight in her career. She is currently searching for her next opportunity in her field, currently doing side commission work to expand her portfolio and skillset.
